In this LEDGlow Unbox Series Video, we’ll show you everything that comes in the box with the 20pc version of our Advanced Million Color SMD LED Slingshot® Lighting Kit with Smartphone Control, which enhances the look of your Polaris Slingshot® with ultra-bright LED lighting and effects. This SMD LED Light Kit for Slingshots is custom made and sized specifically for these three-wheeled motorcycles, and is also available in 32pc and 50pc sizes. The number of strip pairs and wire harnesses will vary based on which sized kit is purchased.
When you open up the box, you’ll see (2) 36” Flexible Wheel Well Tubes with 5’ of Wire Each; (2) 24” Flexible Lighting Strips; (2) 18” Flexible Lighting Strips; (2) 10” Flexible Lighting Strips; (2) 8” Flexible Lighting Strips; (4) 6” Flexible Lighting Strips; (6) 2” Flexible Lighting Strips; 3’ of Power Wire attached to each Lighting Strip; a Bluetooth Control Box with Power and Ground Wires and a Brake Light Control Wire; (2) Wireless Remotes; (2) 2’ 6pc Power Harnesses; (2) 2’ 2pc Add On Harnesses; (1) 2’ 4pc Add On Harness; 5’, 3’ and 1’ Extension Wires; Adhesion Promoter; Alcohol Prep Pads; Zip Ties; and Installation Instructions.
Control App
The LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App allows full control of the featured colors and lighting patterns directly from an iOS (7.0 & up) or Android device (4.4 & up). Select virtually any solid color via the integrated color wheel and choose from 15 unique lighting patterns from the mode dropdown menu. Save up to 5 favorite customized colors and patterns for quick and easy recall using the in-app presets. With a few swipes of the sliders, adjust the brightness levels and speed intensity of the lighting patterns.
Bluetooth 4.0 LE Connectivity
Easily pair any compatible iOS or Android smartphone to the control box through a secure, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connection. Using Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology greatly reduces power consumption while maintaining a secure point-to-point communication range. Bluetooth technology also allows for a quick and easy automatic connection whenever the device is in range of the control box without having to re-pair the device to the control box.
Waterproof Control Box
The included Bluetooth control box allows users to install up to 1,000 SMD LEDs for maximum brightness. Each control box is filled with a black epoxy potting material which encapsulates all the controls and circuit boards, making the control box completely waterproof. This control box will easily hold up to a ride in the rain in addition to any other moisture exposure when your Slingshot LED Lights are activated.
