How to Make Quick Freezer Jam

Quick Freezer Jam1 2/3 cups
Quick Freezer Jam
1 2/3 cups fruit of your choice (I used thawed strawberries)
NOTE* the exception to the rule is that peaches have a slightly different technique as do others such as rhubarb
2/3 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons of Instant pectin (I used Ball Realfruit Instant Pectin)
Chop, mash or puree the fruit of your choice, noting some fruits need to be cooked slightly (a strawberry-rhubarb would be fabulous! Blueberry, raspberry or whatever kind YOU like are all great choices as well)
Add sugar to fruit and then add the pectin. NOTE: It is important to stir the mix for 3 minutes!
Put jam into whatever container you have chosen (I used ½ pint Ball Jelly jars this time. In the past I have used plastic containers as well)
Let the jam rest on the counter for 30 minutes!
Afterward enjoy! The Jam will keep up to 3 weeks in your refrigerator or will freeze well for up to a year!
