Apple Crumble Mini Pies Ideal Best Dessert Recipe Simple and Easy
Ingredients
• 2-3 cups of chopped apples of your choice preferably Granny Smith
• 1/2 cup of apple sauce
• 1/2 -1 cup of water
• 1/4 cup of brown sugar
• 2 tbs lemon juice
• 1/4 tsp ground ginger powder (optional)
• 2 sheets of pastry
Crumble Ingredients
• 1 cup of rolled oats
• 100grams of cold butter
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup of self raising flour
Custard Sauce ingredients
• 2 cups of milk
• 2 to 3 tablespoon of custard powder
• 1/4 cup of sugar of more
Method
1. Peeled and chop the apples
2. Cook the apples on medium heat and add all the ingredients
3. Keep stirring and cook it through until the apples are softened
4. Remove and let it sit to cool down
5. Prepare crumble by adding all the ingredients together and mix well
6. Assemble the pies
7. Cut the pastry with shapes of pie tins.
8. Press pastry in pie tins make sure to pinch steam holes with fork
9. Scoop Apple mix into the tins
10. Top with the crumble mix
11. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes
12. Once the apple pie to cook let it sit on the bench to cool down
13. Make custard sauce by combining all the ingredients
14. Cooking it on low heat and keep staring until it thickens
15. The pies are ready and the sauce, serve hot with vanilla ice cream
