This video shows my recently made minimum quantity lubrication system for use on a mill or lathe. It repurposes a few components from a cheap import "mist lubrication" system, but unlike that variety - which uses the venturi effect of the air stream to draw up and atomize the lubricant - this system uses a pressurized coolant feed. The result is fine control over the amount of coolant, which is delivered not as a mist but as tiny discrete droplets. Thus, one gets "no fog" and virtually no mess.
