Kawasaki is about to join
Kawasaki is about to join the booming Jet Ski fishing market with a new model called the Angler.
It is based on the latest Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S but has a unique colour scheme and is ready to go fishing – as a turn-key solution and a complete package – straight off the showroom floor.
Unique features include a cooler box, five fishing rod holders, stabiliser pods on either side of the craft, a flat seat so you can easily switch from side to side when fishing, and a Garmin navigation unit and fish finder.
The Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler is due in showrooms in late 2024 or early 2025 but Kawasaki has released information ahead of time so buyers can find out more details.
The Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler is intended to be a rival to the hugely popular Sea-Doo Fish Pro series and the Yamaha FX HO JetFish edition, and represents a renewed effort from Kawasaki to reclaim market share in the highly competitive personal watercraft segment.
