This movie based on a true story follows The Z-Boys, a group of young skateboarders: Stacy Peralta (John Robinson), Tony Alva (Victor Rasuk from Fifty Shades of Grey), Jay Adams (Emile Hirsch from Into The Wild and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Skip Engblom (Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight and Brokeback Mountain).
They perfect their craft in the empty swimming pools of unsuspecting suburban homeowners in Venice Beach, becoming cult icons for a new generation.
