Smooth & Creamy Homemade Mango Ice Cream | Mango Ice Cream With Machine | Day 2 of Mango Week

For the second day of mango week, I am going to make Mango Ice Cream. Using an ice cream machine produces ice cream that is smooth and creamy since it is perfectly whipped with the spinning blades. This was absolutely delicious, and it did not form any ice crystals in the ice cream the following day as well. It's a perfect dessert to have during the summer heat.

Machine used in the video: Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker.

Mango Ice Cream Ingredients:
2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Roughly Pureed Mango
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Mango Chunks


Mango Ice Cream Directions
1. Whisk the heavy cream, sugar, milk, mango puree, and vanilla extract in a bowl
2. Add the mixture into the Ice Cream Machine Container
3. Set the timer to 45 MInutes
4. When the ice cream thickens (usually around 25-30 minutes), add mango chunks to the ice cream.
5. The ice cream will be done when the spinning blades can no longer spin in a circle.
6. The ice cream can be eaten immediately after the machine is done.
7. However, if the ice cream is a little soft even after using the machine, leave it in the freezer for a couple of hours in a container that has saran wrap over it and an airtight lid. The ice cream will be easily scoopable. There should be no ice crystals in the ice cream.
