Easy DIY Cement Orb Planters

Posting my last concrete project of the season... see what I learned! I'd made plain ol' concrete orbs like this years ago, but wanted to find a way to make the orbs into planters. I decided to add PVC to the cement to allow for small plants. I got lazy about applying any sort of release agent so my plan to remove the PVC pipe didn't pan out. Turns out these worked just fine without removing the PVC pipe but I had to quickly trim the excess. For under a couple of hours, I love what a simple project this was. These smaller planters are great for indoors and can be updated for each season with smaller succulents or even faux flowers.
