Rody van Gemert plays the Antonio de Torres ’La Perla’ SE 30 guitar from 1882. The instrument was restored in 2022 by Uwe Florath.

Jukka Kaakkomäki is a Finnish composer/accordion player who composed between 2021-2023 a series of 24 preludes for different instruments.  Triste is for guitar and it is dedicated to Rody van Gemert who premiered  the prelude on November 12th 2022 in the Suvelan chapel, Espoo, Finland. The compositions where supported by MES, the foundation of Finnish music promotion, the city of Espoo and Taike Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
