Official 9.0 Pie OTA Update Rollout started for Xiaomi Mi A1. It is a staged rollout and currently according to user feedback it is out for US, Netherlands & Austria and remaining regions will get it soon
You can get the OTA on your phone but I would suggest you to wait for a day or two n try anything as there might be some unknown issues and downgrade to oreo is messy right now
