Hey all, unfortunately the thermal pad replacement looks like it does not work with 0.5mm or 1.0mm pads.

With 0.5mm pads tested 2 days ago, the GPU memory was too hot. GPU Core temps were fine. So heatsink seems like it has good contact with the GPU core and not the memory.

With 1.0mm pads tested in this stream, the GPU memory was fine. GPU Core temps too hot. So heatsink now has good contact with memory and not the GPU.

So there's a fine line when replacing thermal pads. I'm going to buy 0.8mm pads and I may not do a video, but I'll update you all on the result here. Thanks again for joining the livestream.
