All of us go through adversity at some point in our lives. Our character is revealed in the midst of adversities. Difficult circumstances manifest the extent to which our spiritual lives have matured. God sometimes permits these things to happen in our lives so that we can put the principles we've learned thus far into practice. It is also an opportunity for God to demonstrate His goodness and faithfulness. God is interested in transforming us and not just our circumstances. He desires to transform not only our mind but also our character. When we are disobedient and choose to go outside God's Word in order to solve a problem swiftly, God's favor and blessing are rendered inactive, and the power of death is activated. Disobedience invariably places us in a death-like environment.
We can, however, experience God's favor and restoration when we return to His will. Therefore, in times of adversity, we must not compromise with God's will. It is an opportunity for us to examine God's truth and faithfulness, wherein our character begins to change.
हामी सबैले जीवनको कुनै न कुनै समय समस्याहरूको सामना गर्छौं। समस्याको बीचमा हाम्रो चरित्र प्रकट हुन्छ। गाह्रो परिस्थितिले हाम्रो आत्मिक जीवनको परिपक्वतालाई प्रकट गर्दछ। हामीले सिकेका सिद्धान्तहरूलाई यथार्थमा जिउन सकौं भनेर परमेश्वरले कोही बेला हाम्रो जीवनमा यस्ता परिस्थितिहरू आउने अनुमति दिनुहुन्छ। हाम्रो गाह्रो परिस्थिति चाहिँ परमेश्वरको लागि उहाँको भलाई र विश्वासयोग्यता प्रमाण गर्ने मौका हो। परमेश्वर हाम्रो परिस्थिति मात्र होईन तर हामीलाई पनि बदलाउनमा रुची राख्नुहुन्छ। उहाँले तपाईको मन मात्र होईन तपाईंको चरित्रलाई पनि परिवर्तन गर्न चाहानुहुन्छ। जब पनि हामी अनाज्ञाकारी हुन्छौं र छिटो समस्याको समाधान गर्न परमेश्वरको वचन बाहिर जाने फैसला गर्छौं, तब परमेश्वरको निगाह र आशिष् निष्क्रिय हुन्छन् र मृत्युको शक्ति सक्रिय हुन्छ। अनाज्ञाकारिताले जहिले पनि हामीलाई मृत्युको वातावरण भित्र लाँदछ। तर जब हामी उहाँको इच्छा भित्र फर्कन्छौं तब परमेश्वरको अनुग्रह र पुनर्स्थापनाको अनुभव गर्न सक्दछौं। यसर्थ, गाह्रो परिस्थितिको समयमा हामीले परमेश्वरको इच्छासित सम्झौता गर्नु हुँदैन। यो हाम्रो लागि परमेश्वरको सत्यता र विश्वासयोग्यता जाँच्ने मौका हो जसमा हाम्रो चरित्र परिवर्तन हुन शुरू हुँदछ।
