The Office of Child Support
The Office of Child Support Enforcement created this video for state child support agencies. It highlights the changing world of technology and its impact on the child support program. Child support workers have access to information systems that provide accurate, reliable, and up-to-date personal information. While this access greatly improves our services to children and families, child support professionals have a responsibility to safeguard the personal data and privacy of our customers.
The training emphasizes safeguarding requirements as they relate to child support program data, specifically data obtained from the Federal Parent Locator Service and Federal Tax Information. This video discusses the methods and techniques to protect FPLS, FTI, and state child support data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
