Follow up review for Ruger
Follow up review for Ruger American Predator rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. There was some doubt as to the CVLife scope I chose and whether it would hold zero or not. Now we know. This video/test was made 7 weeks after the original.
The Ruger continued to impress me at 100 yards, again shooting significantly less than MOA. I appear to shoot differently from a bench rest versus the bipod which you can see in the video. Some areas of improvement could be letting my barrel cool down more in-between shots and in between the varying bullets I was using. I also kept the CVLife scope at 12X, even thought it goes all the way to 24.
I haven't yet tested this rifles true long range capability. I just haven't ventured into that yet, and frankly, I'm a hunter and would likely never take a shot over 500 yards.
