This year’s annual Constitution Day Lecture "Patriotism – Our Most Contested Virtue" will be presented by Steven B. Smith. Professor Smith teaches political science Yale and is the Co-Director of the Yale Center for the Study of Representative Institutions. Along with being the author of several books, his introduction to political philosophy has been studied by students around the world.

The program is co-sponsored by ASU’s School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and supported by the Jack Miller Center.
