Hi fam, in todays video I will install and review the blackout overlay kit for the rear lift gate sent to me from my friends at CarTrimHome which is similar to other overlay kits you may find on the internet. The process was very easy to cover the chrome as each plastic piece was held on by 3M double sided tape. My only issue was the length of the "L" lettering in the PLATINUM as it was too long so I had to trim it down with a razor in order for it to fit correctly.
Toyota already makes these OEM overlay kits but still have NOT made one for the Platinum trim so this may be an alternative for you if you are looking to "chrome delete" all of your emblems.
