The prior 4 generations of the Toyota Avalon have not been anything to write home about. The 2019 Toyota is all new and it looks great! The Avalon is a happy middle ground between the top tier Toyotas and the entry level Lexus luxury cars. The Avalon has become a fantastic highway cruiser and is appealing to a wider audience.  Prices range from $35,500 for the base XLE up to $42,200 for the Touring trim seen here.

Upfront the aggressive new face looks great along with the LED headlights. There are some good-looking wheels along with interesting character and accent lines. Out back is a subtle lip spoiler and quad exhaust. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic and fuel economy checks in at 22 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.
