This method of quickly cutting cherry and grape tomatoes in half will make you feel like a pro. The two deli container lids back-to-back act as a guide making it easy to cut them all in half. If you don’t have deli container lids, two other matching/same size lids will work or even two salad plates!
1. Take two deli container lids, other matching lids for bowls or even the backs of two plates.
2. Place your grape or cherry tomatoes inside one of the lids in a single layer.
3. Place the other lid on top of the tomatoes.
4. Use a sharp knife and cut between the two lids.
5. The tomatoes are all now cut in half.
