This was it. The one moment everyone was waiting for: the first time a F-35 S T E A L T H   F I G H T E R takes off from Subang Airport. The F-35's Pratt & Whitney F135 engine is definitely one of the loudest jet engines around.

Well fed and well rested, the Italian contingent continued south towards Darwin, Australia to participate in Exercise Pitch Black 2024. 2x F-35B were left behind that day "due to technical issues".
