That's how Zachary Herivaux describes his New England Revolution teammate Lee Nguyen, the skillful veteran at the heart of the Revs' midfield and the subject of the latest episode of MLS Insider.
Nguyen's unique adventure in the game has taken him literally around the world. He's risen from a childhood standout in Plano, Texas to college soccer stardom at Indiana University and on Europe's bright lights with Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven, followed by a life-changing stint in his ancestral homeland Vietnam.
There he became perhaps the most beloved athlete in a small but soccer-obsessed nation. But he craved a different sort of challenge, and so he returned to North America to make his way in MLS.
