Enlightened Equipment Visp - Ultralight Rain Jacket - First Impressions

I feel as though I
I feel as though I can no longer trust the rain jacket I was using... and so it is time for something new!
-Nearly as ultralight weight coming in between 4.7 - 7oz (mine is 6.2oz)
- Comes with way more features like pit zips and all sorts of adjustable straps to keep me dry, warm, or allow for extra breathability in the heat
- The fit is great and leaves room for more insulating layers underneath while not being baggy
- The sleeves and back are a little extra long allowing me to hide under this jacket and keep my hands and my butt more dry
- And the jacket is made of a material I feel I can trust!

I think Enlightened Equipment really did an amazing job with this piece of hiking gear. Whether you're using it on the appalachian trail for the constant rain, the pacific crest trail for the warmth, or the continental divide trail as an extra layer in those crazy storms I think you would be very happy with this.
After I've got another year on this jacket I'll do a full review of it, as of now I've only had it for 4 months using it as often as I can while out on overnight trips, multi day hikes, and around town doing chores in the cold or rain.
