In this video Mike Moloney of Peak Rider Training shows how to quickly repair a simple puncture of a tubeless motorcycle tyre.  You can call a rescue service and watch the remainder of your day ebb away - guaranteed to ruin a ride-out or a day on tour - or you can make an effective repair in 15 minutes and be on your way.  Which would you and/or your pillion prefer?

Update: 12 June 2014 -  This video was never designed to be a slick and polished professional production.  We're not selling a tyre repair product.  It's only meant to be a quick and useful guide to show how a normal everyday rider who experiences a puncture can get themselves going again with little fuss.  Yes, it is helpful to have the plug ready to go, mostly because it will more easily insert in a partially-inflated tyre. In terms of air loss it really doesn't make any difference as you'll have lost most of it by the time you prepare (ream) the hole.

In respect of Martin Sykes' question below there is no need to purge a tyre of CO2.  For one thing it's not at all necessary and besides there's already too much of it floating about in the atmosphere.  You can read more here: http://powertank.com/truth.or.hype/
