Chopping Corn Silage at Windy Ridge Dairy in Northwestern Indiana
In this video I visit Windy Ridge Dairy in Northwestern Indiana as Shaendorf Custom Farming is busy harvesting corn silage for the dairy. In the field they are running two Claas Jaguar 990 self propelled forage harvester to chop the corn. In the video you will also see a variety of trucks and silage trailers as well as several John Deere 7R & 8R tractors pulling Meyer silage trailer hauling the silage from the field back to the farm. Once at the farm there is several John Deere tractors working on the silage pile pushing and packing.
