DANGEROUS BRAKES! (Part 2 - Mazda 3 ABS)

I found a used OEM ABS hydraulic unit / module assembly on eBay for this 2006 Mazda 3 to fix the sinking brake pedal.
Will this used part restore the braking performance? Or will there be more CURVE BALLS?
