When applying for the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program through beta.certify.sba.gov, firms need to claim their business.

Here, we will walk you through this process so you can successfully claim your business and apply for the WOSB Federal Contracting Program.

Before you create your beta.certify.sba.gov account to begin your WOSB Federal Contracting Program application,
• Subscene: 00:28
make sure your firm is registered for “All Awards”— not just Loans and Grants.
Also, ensure your information is up to date in SAM.gov.

The next step is to start creating your beta.certify.sba.gov profile.
Scene 6: 00:42
The majority or designated woman owner of the firm (51% ownership) must create the firm’s beta.certify.sba.gov profile.

The majority or designated woman owner must be the main government point of contact in SAM.gov.
Scene 7: 00:55
Early in the profile creation process, you will claim your business by inputting 3 unique identifiers and connecting your SAM.gov and beta.certify.sba.gov profiles.

These are your DUNS, TIN, and MPIN numbers.
If your TIN starts with a zero, please exclude the zero and any dashes.

Once you have entered the three unique identifiers, it’s time to “claim your business.”

Then, confirm your primary NAICS code.

Next, confirm that you are for-profit company and use the drop-down menu to select your type of business.

Confirm that you aren’t currently debarred in SAM.

Upload proof of U.S. citizenship to confirm that the majority of your firm is owned and controlled by women who are U.S. citizens.

Once you’ve claimed your business and answered some basic eligibility questions,
