clawfoot tub feet fall out from under tub

the feet have come out from under this claw foot tub twice. the 2nd time it damaged the tile & broke a copper tee connection.

take good measurements. maybe take a string, wrap it around the feet until the ends just touch each other, and go to the hardware store w/that. then at the hardware store, pick out your turnbuckle (rated 1,000+lbs), and subtract the string measurement by the length of the turnbuckle when its set for halfway. then pick your cable (stainless steel, weight 1000+lbs) & ask for it to be done w/loops on each end, so finished length is ___
