Rare harpy eagle hatches at Zoo Miami

A rare harpy eagle hatched Dec. 13, 2015, at Zoo Miami. The harpy eagle chick hatched at the harpy eagle enclosure within the Amazon and Beyond exhibit. It is the fifth hatching of this endangered eagle at Zoo Miami which is only the second zoo in all of North America to successfully reproduce this species. Video by Ron Magill / Zoo Miami
