An opportunity to taste the cuisine of people living in deserts
One of the main highlights of Iran, in terms of nature, can be its deserts. Since Iranian deserts were part of the Silk Road, there are many historic monuments and sites left from that era worth paying a visit to. There are many different types of flora and fauna living in this hot region and many caravanserais are still accepting guests and tourists. This tour has been designed to take you away from major touristic cities into NON touristic areas to visit the real life of local residents. It is a real desert journey through vast dessert of Lut.
We have an expedition by 4x4 into the desert, a desert safari through the Lut desert which is the hottest place in the world during the summer. You will go deep into the heart of the desert which is a prohibited area and also UNESSCO world heritage site. During the 5 days approximately 500 km safari and every night you will stay in different places to explore and visit the varieties of land formation. Staying in the middle of the desert with millions of stars disconnects you with civilization and you will experience the silence and beauty of the desert as well. You will finish Lut desert by visiting of a couple of important sites and the city of Kerman as well. At the end you will fly from Kerman to the capital city of Tehran and finish this adventure with a tour of Tehran.
