A second half double from
A second half double from Motherwell's Louis Moult sent the Steelmen into the Betfred Cup final. A fiesty affair at Hampden saw Rangers and Motherwell battle at a furious pace for supremacy in the game.
Rangers had a number of chances to take the lead in the match, but it was Motherwell who broke the deadlock. Moult reacted quickest as the ball bounced not once, but twice off the Rangers woodwork, before the striker found the roof of the net.
Motherwell extended their lead soon after with a sublime lob from that man Moult again, sending the claret and amber massed behind the goal wild.
