How to Color (Dye) Sand

Joy will show you how to color (dye) sand using Adirondack Alcohol Inks. Custom coloring your own sand is great for sand art, Unity Sand Sets for sand ceremonies, candlescaping and more! Be sure you are in a well ventilated area before you start. Simply place the sand into a Ziploc bag and add drops of alcohol ink in the color of your choice. Close the Ziploc bag and knead the sand until it turns to the desired color. Then, it's ready go to! Less mess and no waiting overnight for the sand to dry wondering if it turned to the correct color! UPDATE: We may no longer carry some of the products used in this video.
