Proprioception refers to the body's ability to sense its own position in space and the effort being used in movement. It's a key component of our sensory system! Proprioceptive input, especially through heavy work activities, has a calming and organizing effect on the nervous system. It can help children feel more grounded, focused, and ready to engage in daily activities.
