Wonder Woman was created by a polyamorous, feminist man

The classic Wonder Woman comics are credited to a Charles Moulton, a pseudonym.

The author was in fact William Moulton Marston, who was a controversial psychologist and author.

So what elements of Marston's life — including the unusual relationship with his wife Sadie Elizabeth Holloway and his one-time research assistant Olive Byrne — shaped the creation of Wonder Woman, a remarkable figure of popular culture?
