Today we're showing you the 2016 Kia Soul, which was last completely redesigned in 2014. It was first launched back in 2008 and it's part of the hot-selling compact crossover segment.
Compared to the first gen model, this latest Soul is definitely a bit more grown-up, mainly that it's exterior styling is a bit more refined. Our Soul shown here is the fully-loaded Exclaim model, and is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 162 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. It's paired to a six-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the front wheels. Step inside and you'll find an interior whose features and overall quality go far beyond what the $27,000 MSRP implies. You get a lot for your money such as the extremely cool panoramic sunroof. But is the Soul a smarter buy than either the Nissan Juke or Mini Countryman?
