Ingredients:
For the Khichda:
2 ½ cups crushed wheat
1 ¼ cup barley (optional)
1 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal)
⅓ cup pigeon pea lentil (arhar dal or toor dal)
⅓ cup red lentil (dhuli masoor dal)
¼ cup split black lentil (dhuli urad ki dal)
⅓ cup split green lentil (dhuli moong dal)
⅓ cup rice (optional)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp salt
2-2.5 liters of water
For the Korma:
1 ½ kg mutton
4 medium onions, chopped
4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
4 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp salt
½ tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp chaat masala powder (optional)
1 cup oil
For the Tadka:
½ cup oil
2 onions, finely chopped
For Garnishing:
Chopped coriander leaves
Green chilies, julienned
Ginger, julienned
Lemon wedges
