- What are the 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of the muscles that act on the shoulder? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
  𝒜𝓃𝓈𝓌𝑒𝓇: ⇊
1. Deltoid
                                        - Anterior fibers ----- Flexion + Medial rotation.
                                        - Middle fibers ------- Abduction from 18º to 90º.
                                        - Posterior fibers ---- Extension + Lateral rotation.
(deltoid produces 𝐀𝐋𝐋 movements of the shoulder joint 𝑬𝑿𝑪𝑬𝑷𝑻 adduction)
2. Subscapularis         - Adduction and medial rotation of the shoulder.
3. Supraspinatus         - Abduction (0º – 18º)
4. Infraspinatus           - Lateral rotation.
5. Teres minor             - Lateral rotation + Adduction.
6. Teres major             - Medial rotation + Adduction + Extension.
7. Serratus anterior    - Protraction of the scapula (forward movement of the scapula).
- The lower fibers of the serratus anterior + upper fibers of the trapezius rotate the scapula to produce abduction 𝟗𝟎º 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟖𝟎º (to elevate the arm above the head).
