We take the liberty of bringing forward this ultimate explanation of Ghilaaf-E-Kaaba (the cover of the Kaaba), its existence as a tradition and Sunnah. Along with a heart-wrenching story that depicts Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Hazrat Bilal Ibn Rabah (RA), and Prophet's grandsons Hazrat Imam Hasan Ibn Ali (RA), and Hazrat Imam Ibn Ali (RA).

Key Highlights:
▸ The first cover of the Kaaba was made by Hazrat Ismail (AS), s/o hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
▸ Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) blessed us with 3 gifts: The Quran, Sunnah, and Ahl al-Bayt (Prophet's family).
▸ The best gift one can send to Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) is to synchronise and practice his teachings, incorporate Sunnah, and pray from the heart.
▸ Even the biggest of the biggest gifts human beings can present to the prophet (ﷺ), none can equate to the gift that was presented by Hazrat Bilal (RA)

The Hadiya (gift) of Hazrat Bilal Ibn Rabah (RA) to Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ):
▸ After the death of the Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ), Hazrat Bilal Ibn Rabah (RA) couldn't recite Azaan (Islamic call for prayer), and couldn't stay in Madinah anymore. He left to Damascus, Syria.
▸ Years later, Hazrat Umar (RA) came to Quds (Jerusalem) to conquer it. Both Hazrat Umar (RA) and Hazrat Bilal (RA) entered Quds together.
▸ Hazrat Bilal (RA) recited Azaan (Islamic call for prayer) in Quds (Jerusalem) - it was years after the death of the Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ).
▸ One day Hazrat Bilal (RA) witnessed Hazrat Muhammad (ﷺ) in a dream in which the prophet asked "Isn't that much separation Bilal?".
▸ Hazrat Bilal (RA) couldn't resist and left for Medina. When he reached Masjid Nabawi (Medina), he fell to the ground due to vertigo.
▸ When he achieved conciousness, he witnessed Hazrat Imam Hasan (RA), and Hazrat Imam (RA) in front of him. They asked Hazrat Bilal (RA) "If we ask you something, will you do it?". Hazrat Bilal (RA) replied "I'm your slave".
▸ The grandsons of the prophet then asked Hazrat Bilal (RA) to recite the azaan. It was many years later when the voice of Hazrat Bilal echoed across the city of Medina!
▸ So that was the gift that Hazrat Bilal (RA) presented to our beloved prophet!
