Thatching an Irish Cottage

In this short video we show an Irish Cottage / Pub being thatched by a team of thatchers from County Donegal. The traditional Irish pub is located at  Crosskeys, County Antrim. We filmed them over two days putting the new thatch on the roof and we interviewed Kieran, the thatcher, who gave us a run down on what all was involved in this ancient art.
