At NAMM 2024, Sennheiser introduced
At NAMM 2024, Sennheiser introduced the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO / PRO PLUS Open-Back Studio Headphones for 399 / 479 USD. The "non-plus" version is exactly the same @sennheiser headphone without case, extra 3m cable, and replacement headband pad.
Both versions come with two sets of earpads, which are labeled:
- Mixing earpads - very neutral sounding
- Producing earpads - warmer sounding
We tried them out, and the earpads do make a very noticeable difference!
