This is a follow-along-type session starting from the default Empty template in Dorico, adding all the instruments and as many notes as possible (in the time of the session).  Learn tips and techniques for creating this type of music in Dorico, including using condensing, instrument types and options, and note entry options to maximise the speed of your workflow.

Starting with the public domain score available on IMSLP.org from the beginning of Mahler's Symphony 1 movement 4, how many bars can I get into Dorico in this session (whilst talking and telling you what I'm doing)?!

-- Playback --
At 1:03:25 we also looked at playback but with no manual tweaking, extra CC data or balancing for any specific library, all of which is possible and would make any of these examples sound better than they do here if that is important to you and you want to spend the time (as you would in a DAW).  These are just 'raw' examples of the defaults from the playback templates (see https://dorico.com/resources/)
