Episode 37 Ometepe, Lakes and Popoyo Beach in Nicaragua

Ometepe Island is an overlanding paradise. It is located in the Lake Nicaragua and hosts two volcanos. We were lucky to experience the Volcano Concepcion's erruption in the middle of the day. We rented motobikes and drove around the island enjoying beautiful views. We also visited a sufers' paradise in Popoyo Beach. Nicaragua was great.
