During my tests, I got results in 1 uH - 10 mH range within component tolerances. Using the ideas here you can build your own LCR meter as well. If you are after really precise measurements on capacitors, inductors and resistors with wider ranges an LCR meter is still the way to go but that will depart you from hundreds of dollars and could be an overkill if you already have a good multi meter.
