Alternate Cable Cast On Method For Knitting

This video demonstrates how to work the alternate cable cast on method for knitting. It is a great way to start a piece of knitting with 1x1 ribbing, such as the brim of a hat or the cuff of a top-down sock. It has a stretchy finish, and will somewhat mimic the appearance of your alternating knit and purl stitches.
