Be sure to make this quiche with young cabbage! It's very delicious and incredibly easy to prepare. I'm sure you'll love it! 🥬😉
INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:🫓
- 90g cold unsalted butter
- 180g flour
- 1 egg
- 50g hard cheese (parmesan, pecorino, dziugas or other)
- pinch of salt
Mix all the dry ingredients, then add the egg. Knead until you get an elastic dough. If your dough is dry, add approximately 1 tablespoon of cold water.
You can roll out the dough right away and place it in the quiche pan or metal ring. Then, refrigerate for 1-2 hours. If you don't plan to bake the quiche the same day, you can also roll the dough into a sheet, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate to stabilize. When you're ready to cook, take it out of the refrigerator, let it warm up for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes elastic, then roll it out and place it in the pan.
For the stuffing: 🥬
- 1 cabbage (approximately 700g- 1kg)
- 1 onion
- vegetable oil
- piece of unsalted butter
- pinch of salt
- pepper, spices, sugar (to taste)
For the filling: 🥚
- 3 eggs
- 250g heavy cream 33-35 %. Also, you can use heavy cream, 20% fat
- pinch of salt
- pepper, spices (to taste)
- some cheese (approximately 30g)
Bake at 180°C for about 30-40 minutes.
