Chicken Shawarma (Turkey/Middle East) on Sandwiches of History⁣

Finally getting around to the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. I don’t have a vertical spit so it is not the exact preparation. But the recipe I am following from Chef Tawil Charaniya does an excellent job of emulating the fat dripping down by basically cooking the chicken thighs is a loaf pan. And if you’re tempted to @ me about how I build the sandwich, just know, that I know, it’s supposed just be like a wrap. But I wanted a sandwich sandwich so here we are. Still used the same ingredients in the same amounts so to me it’s a win-win.
