This Airforce NEARLY CAUGHT FIRE! - Read description please!

Here is Airforce with a motor in such poor condition that it almost caught fire!

I say that this nearly caught fire since there was a strong electrical burning smell after running the dryer for under two seconds, meaning that if the dryer had been ran for much longer, it could’ve cut out and started smoking at best, or gone up in flames at worst. I must admit though, it would’ve made a very interesting video if the dryer had gone up in flames!

I’m incredibly glad that somebody had switched this dryer off beforehand, since the consequences could’ve otherwise been catastrophic.

Airforces from this era seem to have incredibly poor reliability, since I can remember both dryers being out of service at different times in this toilet, and the one in the accessible toilet has weak airflow.

Things like this happening are why I always get a bit uneasy about switching on powered off dryers. Most of the ones I’ve turned on have either been functioning perfectly fine, or have been completely dead.

Do you think this is as bad as the infamous Extra Beaconsfield Airstream?
