A WALK OF LIFE. Living with the Pandemic. A 2023 New Year Message from MARIYAH Explorer

-------- Taken this first day of the year, after more than 3-years of isolation due to the pandemic. Recently, in conjunction with the Christmas seasons, Macau relaxed its borders for inbound travelers, a breakthrough and long-awaited opening of the city to the neighboring countries and to the world. This pandemic has taught me valuable lessons in life. It taught me that more than money, health is the greatest wealth; That the way to happiness is to stop worrying things beyond the power of our will; That courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace. And most of all, it inculcated in me that Time changes everything. True to His words “There is a time for everything, and everything there is a season: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. Be it good, be it bad, being happy or being sad, Consider this, there is a time for everything. ---- In whatever time we are, let us always be grateful. That we are always be willing to embrace every situations we may be in. Remember, that everything is made to be beautiful in its time. ----- This is not about the survival of the fittest nor a competition of who is the best, rather, it is a usual path of life one must walk through. One thing is for sure, that as long as we live, and as long as we breathe, life must go on. We continue to live in this world… With the best we may, not of what we have, but because of who we are.
