How To Make Dirty Water Dogs

The street food of legend, boiled in its own effluent, recreated in the comfort of your own home. The four-cylinder beater car of food. Delicious!

Ingredients:
Hot dogs of your choice (dirty water dogs are traditionally beef; I prefer beef, uncured)
Hot dog buns (side sliced)
White vinegar
Bay Leaf
Yellow Onion (peeled & quartered)
Salt (pinch)
OPTIONAL: Spices to match flavor of your dogs

Condiments:
Brown mustard
Sauerkraut
Hot dog onions in sauce (buy them prepared, or leave a comment of you want an episode where I make these)

Only if you're a hot-dog heathen:
Ketchup
Pickle relish
