Playing Final Fantasy VIII was an interesting journey. I enjoyed a lot of it and even when I thought it was poorly written, I still had fun hanging out with chat on stream. The game does have a lot of issues and they're issues that I can't really overlook, which sucks to say, but sadly Final Fantasy 8 just didn't work for me all too much. There were elements I liked, and I really did enjoy the gameplay experience, but everything else from the story, to character work, general dialogue and evening the world building and exploration of the world, just fell incredibly flat. Looking forward to playing Final Fantasy IX soon!
