Is Punta Cana Safe?

We just got back from the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Sanctuary Cap Cana.  One night we went into Downtown Punta Cana for a little more nightlife and to check out the vibes and safety in the area.  We were very surprised on how clean and fun it was!  It's smaller and different than the Hotel Zone in Cancun because it is situated in an open air "market" layout.  We loved it and had a great time and can't wait to go back! #travelvlog #puntacana #traveltips
