Survivor of East Area Rapist: ‘I wasn’t who I was the day before’

A woman who was raped by Joseph DeAngelo said Monday being part of a private Facebook with other survivors and victims of the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer helped her get through DeAngelo’s plea hearing. Kris Pedretti was 15 years old when DeAngelo broke into her Carmichael home and raped her. She said in the group, the survivors call themselves by the number of the when they were assaulted.
